Just because you have EBV antibodies doesn’t mean it’s active—it usually means you’ve built immunity. The real issue? Most fibromyalgia patients have low reduced glutathione, which viruses like EBV intentionally suppress. That’s why symptoms overlap: fatigue, pain, immune dysfunction. Fix the glutathione issue, and you can support recovery on a deeper level.

Is Epstein bar related to fibromyalgia? No. And there's a lot of false information about EBV or Epstein bar out there. People keep saying have antibodies for EBV, but yeah, they're old antibodies. You're you're immune to it. I mean, you've developed immunity to it. It's not an indication that you have it. Um, if you have symptoms of fatigue

and all that, it's probably vitamin D, not EBV. Yeah. So, you think this is a question we get asked in the front office, but this is my wife Denise talking with with the EBV. Is that due to poor nutrition unknowingly? Could it weaken

0:36

you and put you on that path? You're asking a multi-sided complex question? Yeah. No. Yeah. Poor nutrition meaning reflected in a CMA. Yeah. CMA result, a vitamin panel result. Um, yeah. Because it was low in lysine or low in glutathione specifically. um reduce glutathione to

be really specific. Uh viruses like EBV, HIV, uh hepatitis A, B, C and D and E uh and a lot of others. The first thing they do, they all have their different way of doing it, which is really weird, but they all try and turn off your ability to recycle or reconstitute

reduced glutathione. They have to do that to be successful. So, um and a lot a lot of these fibromyalgia suffers have a problem with glutathione anyway. That's really why we developed and and patented our our glutathione. We developed it and then realized it worked for fibro and we had great results and

1:27

everything. So we got a patent on it but because fibromyalgia patients can't make um can't make enough reduced glutathione usually. They said they can't clear out the copper. So it's a big problem for them. They don't know they have they can't clear out the viruses. I want to piggyback on that cuz I'm just thinking

a lot of times though our nutritional deficiencies we could be eating a good diet but we're not absorbing what we need intracellularly, right? But we don't because we don't we're doing all this stuff and we're thinking I mean how many people say I'm taking handfuls of vitamins but I'm still deficient. It's usually the wrong kind of wrong

2:00

vitamin, wrong company, wrong way they made it. I mean look at glutathione. They're 50 or 60 on Amazon but they don't work at all. They don't work at all. Yeah. So, I mean, ours is on there, but we have patents on it because it works. Yeah. And we're the only patented oral glutathione on the planet,

2:15

right? But people might think they're eating a whole diet, a whole food diet, and they're taking supplements and so they wouldn't think necessarily that maybe they're nutritionally deficit because they're making it. You're rolling the dice every day. And if you vitamin C for a while or anything like that, suddenly you have curvy. I

had seven cases last year, six so far this year. Um, most painful, horrible disease ever. it and uh or you you just kind of get it eventually you flip over the edge of the cliff and and you're in freef fall with your with some vitamin that you're horribly deficient in and

2:47

then I get you finally cuz you've been to 12 15 different doctors and you're like this guy deals in root causes he'll figure it out and I do figure it out 800 five star reviews right or your doctors I mean I can't tell you how often I hear and I know it was my personal experience was well your

labs are fine everything's fine you're fine they do a little That is a really narrow set. A lot of CBC, CMP. Yeah, they're fine. Yeah, you're fine. I am not. So, does the copper imbalance occur primarily in women? I agree with you. It seems to be the vast majority of women. I'm not sure

3:19

why. We've been getting a lot of men lately to our page, which is they're starting to recognize it more. Yeah. Yeah.

MAKE SENSE OF YOUR COPPER RESULTS

Non-ceruloplasmin copper calculator

Use your zinc, total copper, and ceruloplasmin blood results to estimate NCC and the copper:zinc ratio.

Zinc
Total copper
Ceruloplasmin

Copy the units exactly. Use blood results collected together when available; your clinician can help if collection dates or sample types differ.

How this estimate works

This uses the formula in Dr. Purser’s handout: NCC (µg/dL) = total copper (µg/dL) − 3 × ceruloplasmin (mg/dL). NCC percentage = NCC ÷ total copper × 100. Copper:zinc ratio = total copper ÷ zinc, using the same units.

Calculated NCC is an estimate. Test methods and how much copper is bound to ceruloplasmin can affect it. It differs from a direct lab measurement of labile or exchangeable copper. It cannot diagnose fibromyalgia or copper toxicity, or choose treatment for you. Read about the limits of calculated NCC at Mayo Clinic Laboratories ↗
