Understand the connection

CMA and antioxidant or redox results describe different aspects of cellular nutrient function. The test name, units, and laboratory interpretation matter when comparing results.

Follow the pathway

Dr. Purser connects riboflavin with FAD-dependent enzymes, pantothenic acid with coenzyme A, magnesium with ATP reactions, and antioxidants with handling reactive oxygen species. He discusses nutrient patterns alongside nerve and muscle symptoms, but those symptoms still require their own evaluation.

Bring these questions to your visit

Ask which findings are confirmed, which are severe, and whether they could reflect intake, absorption, medicines, or another condition. Follow up a deficiency with a plan tailored to the exact test rather than using someone else’s combination of results.
